President Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order today aimed at cracking down on price gouging in the ticket resale market, according to a White House official.
The order directs the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to collaborate with Attorney General Pam Bondi to enforce competition laws and ensure transparency in ticket pricing.
Kid Rock, a vocal Trump supporter, will attend the signing at 5:30 p.m. ET. The move follows widespread public frustration over skyrocketing resale prices, notably during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, where some tickets were resold for tens of thousands of dollars.
