The White House confirms that President Trump is set to impose additional 104% tariffs on all Chinese imports Tomorrow, Wednesday. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made the announcement today, Tuesday.
That means that all imported goods from China are approaching at least 104%.
China was already set to see tariffs increase to 34% on Wednesday as part of Trump’s “retaliatory” tariff package. But the president imposed another 50% after Beijing failed to back down from its promise to impose a 34% retaliatory tariff on U.S. goods by this Tuesday. According to CNN
