Trump to Sign Executive Order Declaring Antifa a Terrorist Organization

Donald Trump has announced that he will sign an executive order declaring Antifa as a terrorist organization, escalating Trump administration’s efforts against the loosely organized anti-fascist movement.
Trump made the announcement on social media, and calling Antifa “a sick, dangerous, radical left disaster” and urging investigations into its supporters and financial networks. The White House said the order could be signed as early as today.
Antifa has no central leadership, raising questions about how such a designation would be enforced under U.S. law.
Current legal frameworks allow foreign groups to be labeled as terrorist organizations but provide no established process for applying the designation domestically.
Legal experts warned the move is likely to face constitutional challenges over free speech and due process.
Critics also said the order could be used to broadly target political opponents, while supporters argue it would give law enforcement stronger tools to respond to violent protests.
