Reports say more than 200 children killed in US-Israeli attacks on Iran

More than 200 children have been killed in Iran since the start of U.S. and Israeli strikes, according to figures cited by Iranian officials and humanitarian reporting during the ongoing conflict.
Iran’s Health Ministry said over 200 minors and more than 220 women have died in the attacks, with thousands more injured since the military campaign began in late February. Officials said at least 1,190 children have also been wounded during the fighting.
One of the deadliest incidents occurred on the first day of the war when a girls’ elementary school in Minab was struck, killing more than 170 people, many of them schoolchildren, according to Iranian authorities and multiple reports.
Overall casualties in Iran have continued to climb, with Iranian officials saying over 1,300 people have been killed since the conflict began, including hundreds of women and children.
International organizations and humanitarian groups have warned that children are paying a heavy price as airstrikes damage homes, schools and hospitals across the country during the expanding regional war.
