Atlantic Publishes More ‘War Plan’ Signal Texts, Revealing Detailed U.S. Strike Plans in Yemen

Explosive new text messages published by The Atlantic reveal that top officials from the Trump administration privately discussed precise operational details of U.S. military strikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen earlier this month.

According to the New York Post, the leaked messages shared in a Signal chat group called “Houthi PC small group channel” included specifics on the planned strikes, down to the exact weapons that would be used. This directly contradicts the White House’s previous denials that such classified information was discussed in the group.

Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg wrote that if the messages had been intercepted by adversaries of the U.S., the Houthis could have had time to prepare for what was intended as a surprise attack on their strongholds. nypost
