Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) are leading the effort, featuring testimony from Ryan Crosswell, a former DOJ attorney who resigned after the department dropped corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Also expected to speak are Liz Oyer, a former pardon attorney who says she was fired for refusing to cooperate with efforts to restore Mel Gibson’s gun rights, and Rachel Cohen, a former law firm associate who opposed working with Trump’s DOJ.
While the hearing carries no legal weight, Democrats hope it will highlight their concerns and put public pressure on the administration.
