Dua Lipa Drops Agent After Letter Targeting Pro-Palestinian Rap Group

Share

Dua Lipa has ended her professional relationship with agent David Levy after he signed a letter urging Glastonbury Festival organizers to drop Belfast rap group Kneecap from its lineup.

The letter accused the group of promoting pro-Palestinian causes and engaging in antisemitism.

Sources close to the singer said that she viewed Levy’s position as incompatible with her own support for Palestinian rights.

The decision to cut ties with him came after the letter was made public, sparking criticism and highlighting divisions in the music industry over the war in Gaza.

Despite the controversy, Kneecap went ahead with its Glastonbury performance. One member of the group is facing a terrorism charge linked to alleged antisemitic symbolism during a past show, a case that has drawn widespread attention as well.

Dua lipa remains with the same talent company but will now be represented by a different agent.
