Elon Musk has claimed that an investigation has identified five groups funded by ActBlue, a Democratic online fundraising platform, as the primary organizers of protests at Tesla dealerships across the United States. The demonstrations come as Musk faces criticism from Democrats over his collaboration with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to reduce the size and scope of government operations.

The protests at Tesla dealerships have gained momentum in recent weeks, with activists targeting locations in cities like Manhattan, Boston, Portland, California, and Florida. Last week, demonstrators outside a Tesla dealership in Manhattan held signs comparing Musk to Adolf Hitler and expressed solidarity with Ukraine. These protests are part of the broader #TeslaTakedown movement, which aims to pressure Tesla and its CEO over various political and social issues.

Musk specifically named the groups involved as Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project, and the Democratic Socialists of America. He also pointed to major ActBlue donors, including George Soros, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Sandler, Patricia Bauman, and Leah Hunt-Hendrix, as key financial backers of these organizations.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk revealed that ActBlue is under investigation for allegedly allowing foreign and illegal donations, which would violate campaign finance laws. “ActBlue is currently being investigated for criminal violations of campaign finance regulations,” Musk stated. “This week, seven senior officials at ActBlue resigned, including the associate general counsel.”

If you know anything about this, please post in replies. Thanks, Elon.

The fundraising platform has reportedly been in turmoil following the resignations, with growing concerns about the legitimacy of some donations processed through its system. House Republicans have previously raised questions about ActBlue’s security measures and fraud prevention protocols, sending congressional inquiries to address these issues.

Musk, however, has dismissed the protests as insignificant. While speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in February, he referred to the demonstrations as “fake rallies” and questioned the authenticity of the left-wing movement. “At this point, I’m not sure how much of the left is even real,” Musk remarked.
