Photos released in Epstein files appear to show Andrew on all fours over female.

MLN -31 JAN 2026:Newly released files from the US Department of Justice include photographs that appear to show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor kneeling on all fours over a woman lying on the ground. In two of the images, he appears to be touching the unidentified, fully clothed female on her stomach, while another image shows him looking directly at the camera.
The photographs are part of the latest tranche of documents made public on Friday in connection with the case of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. No context is provided for the images, and it is unclear when or where they were taken.
Alongside the photographs, newly released emails suggest Epstein invited Mountbatten-Windsor to have dinner with a 26 year old Russian woman in 2010, two years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor. The emails were exchanged in August 2010, shortly after Epstein completed his sentence in Florida.
In one exchange dated 11 and 12 August 2010, Epstein wrote from an account communicating with one titled “The Duke,” suggesting that Mountbatten Windsor might enjoy having dinner with the woman, who would be visiting London that month. The account identified as “The Duke” replied that he would be in Geneva “until the morning of the 22nd but would be delighted to see her,” asking whether she would be “bringing a message from you” and requesting any additional information about her. Epstein responded that “she [is] 26, russian, clevere [sic] beautiful, trustworthy and yes she has your email.”
Another email exchange dated 27 September 2010 shows Epstein writing that he was in London and asking what time Mountbatten-Windsor would like to meet, adding that they would also need to have private time. The reply from “The Duke” suggested meeting for dinner at Buckingham Palace, stating: “Alternatively we could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and lots of privacy. A.” Epstein replied: “bp pleease [sic].” The emails do not indicate any wrongdoing.
The newly released materials form part of more than three million pages of documents and roughly 180,000 images. Other images include heavily redacted photos of unidentified women, as well as pictures that appear to show luxury apartments, hotel rooms and a villa with a swimming pool. Many documents are heavily redacted, with some pages entirely blacked out.
A separate document from 2020 included in the release is a formal request from U.S. authorities seeking to interview Mountbatten Windsor, stating that investigators believed he may have been a witness to and/or participant in certain events of relevance to the ongoing investigation. The letter noted that evidence suggested he had knowledge of Ghislaine Maxwell’s recruitment of women for Epstein and that there was evidence he had engaged in sexual conduct involving one of Epstein’s victims. The same document added that Mountbatten Windsor was not presently a target of the investigation and that U.S. authorities had not gathered evidence that he committed a crime under U.S. law.
Mountbatten-Windsor has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and has said he did not see, witness or suspect any behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to Epstein’s arrest and conviction. He previously denied allegations by Virginia Giuffre that he sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager and reached a financial settlement with her in 2022 to resolve a civil claim, which he said was not an admission of guilt.
The latest release also contains emails that appear to be between Sarah Ferguson and Epstein from 2009, discussing personal matters and business ideas. The emails do not indicate wrongdoing. BBC News has contacted Mountbatten-Windsor and Ferguson for comment.
