Sean Diddy Combs Sentenced to 4 Years, 2 Months in Prison.

Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced Friday to four years and two months in federal prison after being convicted for transporting individuals across state lines for illicit sexual encounters,
The sentence comes after a jury acquitted Combs of the more serious charges, racketeering and sex trafficking but found him guilty on two counts under the Mann Act. Combs has already spent roughly a year in detention, meaning his remaining time behind bars could be about three years.
Prosecutors had asked for over 11 years, but the judge opted for a shorter term with a $500,000 fine and five years of supervised release.
During the hearing, testimonies revealed alleged patterns of abuse and coercion in Combs’s relationships with former partners and male escorts. One ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, recounted years of controlling behavior and “freak-offs,” while another witness, referred to as “Jane,” described being pressured into sexual encounters while Combs watched or filmed.
While nothing can undo the trauma caused by Combs,” Ventura’s legal team said in a statement, “the sentence imposed today recognizes the impact of the serious offenses he committed.
Combs’s defense signaled plans to appeal, challenging both his convictions and the sentence. Meanwhile, attention now turns to how his release schedule will play out and how civil lawsuits against him may proceed.
