MLN -27 JAN 2026 Chicago’s United Center will begin selling hemp-derived THC beverages at concerts and special events next month, becoming the first major U.S. sports and entertainment arena to offer the products, the venue announced Tuesday.

Under a multiyear partnership with cannabis beverage company Rythm, guests aged 21 and older will be able to purchase Señorita and Rythm-branded drinks at most concerts, shows and special events starting in February. The drinks will not be sold during Chicago Bulls or Chicago Blackhawks games.

According to a news release, the initial lineup will feature four hemp-derived THC beverages containing 5 milligrams of THC each. Options include a sativa-based drink described as “uplifting” and margarita-style mocktails marketed for a “smooth, social lift.”

“Bringing Señorita and RYTHM to the United Center reflects a simple truth: Consumers want non-alcoholic options, and leading venues are responding,” Ben Kovler, chairman and interim chief executive of Rythm, Inc., said in the release.

The move comes as consumer interest in non-alcoholic and cannabis-infused beverages continues to grow. Market research firm Brightfield Group reported that 14% of U.S. adults used hemp-derived THC products in the first quarter of 2025, up from 8% during the same period a year earlier.

Alcohol consumption has also declined. A recent Gallup survey found that 54% of U.S. adults reported drinking alcohol, the lowest level recorded in the polling organization’s nine decades of tracking, with the steepest declines among younger adults.
