Entrepreneur and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is set to launch his campaign for Ohio governor on February 24, according to a report from the Associated Press. The 39-year-old biotech entrepreneur will kick off his campaign at CTL Aerospace Inc. in Cincinnati, followed by events in Columbus, Toledo, and Cleveland over the next two days.

Vivek Ramaswamy, who gained national attention during his 2024 presidential run, is now turning his focus to Ohio politics.

He previously served as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) alongside Elon Musk, a role he resigned from in January. His campaign aims to bring a fresh perspective to Ohioโ€™s leadership as current Governor Mike DeWine is term-limited and cannot run for re-election in 2026..
