Attorney General Pam Bondi has pushed back against the wave of lawsuits challenging President Donald Trump’s policies and executive actions, arguing that judges across the country hold “tremendous power”
Speaking on “Fox News Sunday,” Bondi defended Trump’s leadership, stating, “He was overwhelmingly elected by an overwhelming majority of the United States citizens to be our commander in chief, and that’s exactly what he’s been doing.” She pointed out that since Trump took office on January 20, the administration has faced more than 170 lawsuits. “That should be the constitutional crisis right there,” she added.
On Sunday, AG Pam Bondi highlighted how court injunctions seems to be issued daily, aiming to limit the president’s trump executive authority and control over federal spending.
“It’s basically a game of whack-a-mole with these district court judges around the country who have a tremendous amount of power. They believe they do, but that’s why we’re appealing all of these cases, of course, up to the Supreme Court,” she explained.
When asked if Trump would comply with Supreme Court rulings, Bondi assured that the president would follow the law, both now and in the future..
