White House Fires Three National Security Council Staffers After Loomer Meeting

The White House has dismissed at least three National Security Council (NSC) staffers following a meeting between President Donald Trump and far-right activist Laura Loomer, sources told CNN. Loomer reportedly urged Trump to remove certain officials, claiming they were disloyal.
The firings include Brian Walsh, Thomas Boodry, and David Feith, all of whom held key roles in intelligence, legislative affairs, and national security.
While Trump has not yet dismissed Principal Deputy National Security Adviser Alex Wong, one White House official suggested his departure could be imminent. Loomer had specifically questioned Wong’s loyalty, labeling him a “Never Trumper.”
The meeting with Loomer, which also included Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and top personnel adviser Sergio Gor, took place as the president was preparing to announce new tariffs. The NSC declined to comment on the personnel changes.
